Details
Broken Skin is an installation work that includes materials such as plastic cloth, tin foil, tree bark, printed images and garbage pieces.
The work stands in between repair and disrepair, construction and destruction. Using low production and found materials to build up a ‘garment’. Reinterpreting the punk culture through implementing different materials and collaging them into a three-dimensional installation. The process of tearing, stitching, stabling, burning and splashing paint released me from the painful experiences. Plastic cloth and flesh-like paint suggest human skin, which has been intruded and broken.
